Collection: polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) — Arkema Kynar® 740

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) is a high-purity fluoropolymer offering exceptional chemical resistance, UV stability, and electrical insulation. We supply Arkema Kynar® 740 PVDF in resin pellets and extruded semi-finished shapes (sheets and rods).

Why Choose PVDF?

  • High Purity: No UV stabilizers, plasticizers, heat stabilizers, lubricants, or flame retardants — ideal for ultra-pure chemical handling
  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to chlorinated solvents, strong acids, halogens, and most inorganic chemicals
  • Temperature Range: Continuous use from −60°C to +150°C
  • UV & Weather Resistance: Outstanding outdoor durability with minimal property degradation
  • Inherent Flame Retardancy: Self-extinguishing without additives; UL 94 V-0
  • Excellent Machinability: CNC-machinable to tight tolerances
