Bakelite, officially phenolic resin laminated board, is manufactured by hot-pressing kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin under high temperature and pressure. Its continuous operating temperature ranges from 120℃ to 130℃, and it can resist 140℃ for short-term exposure. It features high hardness, electrical insulation, flame retardancy, wear resistance, dimensional stability and excellent CNC machinability. Widely used in electronic insulating parts, switch bases, PCB testing jigs, motor insulation gaskets, machinery heat baffles, as well as SMT tooling fixtures, mold backing plates and precision measuring tools.
